Classes range from 4 to 6 weeks meeting consecutively for one hour each week (except for rain and holidays). Workshop times can range from 2 hours on one day to multiple sessions once a week. Behaviors learned in these classes and workshops start with Beginning Obedience class. We believe that building a dog’s confidence is the key to helping them become comfortable in their environment. In addition we offer Agility, Tricks, and our Intermediate class which prepares you and your dog to pass the AKC – Canine Good Citizen Test.

In 6 weeks of the Beginning Obedience Class you and your dog can learn how to communicate with each other better than you can ever imagine you would. Communication is the key to a happy life with your dog. Dogs that are well behaved get to go many places. Dogs that are poorly behaved have to stay at home. Group classes offer more than appears on the surface.  Classes offer a chance for your dog to socialize with dogs and people.  Most fearful dogs were not socialized properly when they were young.  We have classes designed to strengthen your bond and their self confidence, as well as AKC Canine Good Citizen, and agility. Currently we have classes in Los Angeles, Studio City, Sherman Oaks, and Van Nuys.

Starting your Beginning Obedience class right after adopting your new dog will get you and your dog on the same page faster. The earlier you start, the easier it is going to be for both of you. Classes teach more than just sit, down, stay, leave it, etc.  All dogs benefit from training and positive play games, especially puppies. Working in a group with different types of dogs helps your dog in the real world, where there are all types of dogs Class can be fun and a great way to make new friends (dog and human buddies).

After 6 weeks of work, you will be amazed at what you and your dog can do Click below to get more information on any of these classes. Improve your training skills by 300% in only 2 hours. The Precision Timing/Clicker Workshop is recommended for all handlers  and is a prerequisite for some of the more advanced classes.
