DESCRIPTION

Precision Timing Workshop:
Better than reading 20 dog training books! Increase your trainer skills by 300%. In 2 just hours you will learn what only the best animal trainers know; how it feels to be the dog. As well as learning more than any book can teach you, this is one of the most fun workshops you will ever attend!!! This workshop hones your timing skills. Timing is everything when it comes to training. Do you feel like your dog does not understand you? Do you have excessive barking or impulse control behaviors you would like to get under control? Are you at a plateau communicating with your dog or training specific behaviors? Is it time to wean off treats or teach fun tricks? Get the behaviors you desire faster, easier, and with less stress for you and your dog. This workshop is for people only, as you get to BE THE DOG and the trainer. This will give you a better understanding of what it feels like to be your dog. This is a one-day, 2 hour workshop.

Puppy Great Start Class:
Behaviors learned in this class include commands taught in the Beginning Obedience Class, along with confidence building exercises. This includes dog-to-dog and dog-to-people socialization. Small, fearful dogs are welcome in this class to help them learn to overcome their fears of other dogs and strangers (after evaluation).

Puppy Play/Socialization Hour:
This social hour is for puppies to socialize under supervision by a trainer in our training studio in Studio City. Puppies will be paired up and switched out based on size and temperament. Puppies that are not directly playing will watch the others play which will help them with impulse control and learning appropriate dog behavior. All puppies must have vaccinations and show no signs of aggression towards people or dogs. The trainer will referee and explain the behaviors the puppies are displaying so you and your puppy learn what is appropriate and not appropriate play behavior. Evaluations or previous classes with us are required before your puppy will be accepted into this class (Vaccine records are mandatory for this class)

Beginning Obedience class:
Behaviors taught in the Beginning Obedience class include: Sit, Down, Come, Stay, Off, Go to your Spot, Leave It, and Give. You also learn to walk nicely on a leash, wait at doors, curbs, and polite greetings of strangers. A complete program for you and your dog is included to reinforce and retain the behaviors you and your dog learn in class.

Confidence Building with Agility:
Play is especially helpful for puppies and fearful dogs—but the truth is, all dogs benefit from it. We use tricks and agility equipment to build your dog’s confidence and bond with you. Confident dogs are happier, learn more, and adapt to new situations more easily. This is a great way to get them started on being confident dogs.

Intermediate Obedience/Canine Good Citizen prep class:
Intermediate Obedience class focuses on impulse control, especially in public. Greetings of people and other dogs become controlled situations, instead of being challenging and fearful encounters. This class gives your dog the manners and confidence to handle vet visits, groomers, unfamiliar sounds and places. This class also prepares you and your dog to test and pass the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) if you are interested in doing so.
